Most companies have HR departments, which need to properly and quickly manage a large number of data and information about each employee of the company. And such a lot of work that must be done in short time sometimes lead to errors. Which can or cannot be remedied. To help companies and to facilitate the HR staff activity, BITSoftware has created and constantly developed the payroll solution Socrate Payroll. The 12.04 version comes with several enhancements and new features, being a comprehensive solution for managing human resources in any company.

You can now define an employee, including all needed information, from identification data (name, address, date of birth, identity number, photo) to training courses, penalties, employment, type of contract and more. You also have access to a report on each employee "history", which brings information about the position, employment salary, pay scale, penalties, the department/departments or profit center where he worked, for a selected period.

SocratePayroll 12.04 comes with several templates for different types of employment contracts, which will be completed with information about the already registred employee. The new version of BITSoftware`s payroll solution also facilitates the process of tracking employee vacations. Now, information about the untaken vacation from last year, vacation taken during the current year (detailed on calendar months) or the remaining vacation can be obtained by a simple click.

With SocratePayroll 12.04 you will immediately find information on the evolution of the employees number (on working groups, categories of employees, weekly recruitment, etc), on sick vacations (with the possibility to obtain reports for short periods, as e.g for less than 30 days), or the staff distribution by age, sex, etc.

Improvements and new features were also brought on the payroll and financial reporting, including the introduction of a Payroll simulator allowing simulations at company or workgroup level, on wage type, with salary rises in percentage  or in fixed amount added to the employment salary, etc. The possibility of calculating the contributions deduction from other contributions (such as death grant or sick vacations based on work accident), was also created, the employees categories on the 112 Statement were completed and the export procedure for Reges data were modified, in order to include also other types of bonuses.

Two of BITSoftware`s business solutions - Socrate+ ERP and Socrate Payroll - are now compatible with the latest Microsoft technology, SQL Server 2012. The tests conducted by BITSoftware`s specialists shown that both applications (ERP and Payroll) run on SQL 2012 in optimal conditions.
