Cosmopolis Residential Complex is one of the fastest and largest residential developments in Romania, located in the northern part of Bucharest. Today, I'll be speaking on behalf of High Construction, one of the key companies within our group, in fact, the main contractor responsible for the construction of Cosmopolis. In this presentation, I want to share how we transformed our project and financial operations using the SocrateERP system, developed by BITSoftware.

This ERP solution has helped us achieve measurable improvements in efficiency, inventory control, and decision-making. In this session, to make it easier to follow, I want to structure my presentation around a few key questions to show you what challenges we faced before implementation and what results we achieved after implementation.

Question 1: How did you manage your processes before implementation?

We implemented SocrateERP in 2021. Before 2021, we relied on multiple Excel files and manually prepared reports to control costs, manage purchases, and handle warehouse inventory. Each department, especially the technical and financial offices, spent many hours each week collecting and comparing data from different sources. We didn't have a centralized system, so we couldn't track almost anything in real-time, and it was difficult to get a clear picture of the project's financial status.

Question 2: What prompted you to purchase and implement SocrateCloud ERP?

We actually needed a solution that would centralize our operations and reduce manual work. SocrateERP offered us an integrated system with which we could manage budgets, purchases, inventory, and financial data, all in one place. The fact that SocrateERP was a 100% cloud solution allowed us to access information anytime, from anywhere.

Question 3: What are the main improvements you've observed since implementation?

The biggest improvement is real-time visibility. We can now instantly monitor budgets, control purchase limits, and track warehouse stock. Everything is more transparent and faster now. Approximately one year after the completion of the SocrateERP implementation, we had enough information and started to analyze the age of materials based on their information from the warehouse. We began to measure how long materials had been in the warehouse and created an aging report. With this information from the aging report, we could see exactly what materials we still needed to order and in what quantities. As a result, we optimized our inventory levels, thereby reducing overstock. This improved our cash flow by saving significant capital through avoiding excess inventory. This was a major step for us, and we now have smarter inventory planning and more efficient supply management.

Question 4: How does Socrate handle the accounting side?

This is actually one of the functionalities we value most: accounting is part of the Socrate system, which means every transaction, from purchase requisition to material delivery, is automatically reflected in our financial records. It gives us complete confidence in the data we use to make decisions. This is truly Socrate's most important asset. You have enough confidence to sit at the table when making decisions, knowing that all data is accurate and that you finalize with accurate financial statements.

Absolutely, yes! We have significantly improved our efficiency, reduced reporting time, and brought proper structures to our operations.
